Home Strech

Today I hit 28 weeks. This means I am in my third and final trimester and have only 12 weeks before this little one joins our family.

This is wonderful, fun, scary news to me. I am so excited to meet this little girl, but at the same time I can't believe how fast the time has already gone and that Button is going to have a sister sooner than later. I am worried that she won't adjust well, that she will be mad at me or something. Which is silly, I know, but I am her Mommy too! And she is so stinkin' cute.

The time is going to fly by. Thanksgiving is really only two weeks away, and Christmas will be right after. I need to go shopping and get things ready for the marathon weekend that Christmas will be at our house. The weekend before (yes, the 22-23) my family is coming and then Christmas day will be at our house again. Yeesh. Thanksgiving is more laid back. Button and I will head back to see my parents since Hubs hunts - and this will be my last trip back home before this one comes into the world.

I am so excited and happy and scared and in awe. I love this one so much, and I love Button so much, but I am nervous about the changes to come in our little family.

Work has also been another huge stress again. I am so fed up and ready to be done. Maternity leave will really be a blessing, I know! A good, needed break I think.

Anyway, that is all I have for today. Nothing too exciting. I'll add a photo from this morning just for fun. Daylight savings means we were up by 4:30am again today, so it was a LONG morning before Voting, School and Work!

Remember to Vote today!!!!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween! I have always loved Halloween. Dressing up, candy and fun for all, right?? I mean, who could NOT love this day??

This year, I made Button's costume. She is a bee and I love it. She looks so adorable. Of course, this morning when I dropped her off at school, I forgot to take her picture, but we had trick or treating on Sunday (something I hated when I first moved here, but now love) so below is a photo from Sunday.

This year was her first year going trick or treating. We hit about 5 houses and she loved it. We stopped because she kept wanting to eat the candy, but she has a peanut allergy and almost everything she got, she couldn't have. That is going to be hard - next year I will have to make sure I have things to swap out the candy she can't have for what she can. But she had fun.

Below is my last photo for the day - Button and Hubs being silly with bee ears.
 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
